With a portrait it gets very close to a person. You can see all the little blemishes that makes them the person they are. With a portrait, one can tell the viewer most of the stories. You can lie and betray. But just as much as you can create an illusory world, a portrait is a rare opportunity to be honest. To yourself and to others. It took me around ten years of photographing non-models to learn how to achieve a good Portrait quick in a very short time. In the end it’s all about human connection and trust.
